FAS®2 discs
The solution for adhesive fixing
The FAS®2 facilitates the application and removal of PSA grinding papers and polishing cloths from the FAS® 2 plate leaving a residue free surface every time it is used with only a very low force required to remove any adhered surface due to the proprietary coating.
The patented material comprising the FAS®2 system allows combining the softness and regularity of the abrasion of a flexible coating with the inherent flatness obtained with a metal support.
FMS® discs & plates
The fixing system by magnetic attachment
The standard FMS® plate is an adhesive backed magnetic substrate designed to be attached to any standard polisher platen. This allows for all steel backed discs or support plates to be held securely during any grinding and polishing procedures.
FIX LAM® discs and plates
The repositionable adhesive system
The FIX LAM® allows plain backed SiC discs to be held securely on the platen by means of a re-usable adhesive coating. Comes in both PSA backing and a magnetic compatible for fixation to the platen.
XLAM 4 discs
New fixing for polishing discs Serie XLAM.
XLAM 4 is an innovative product for the contact attachment of non-self-adhesive polishing discs to metallographic polishing machines. The XLAM 4 is a thin disc for fixing to the machine table. Its special surface enables the XLAM series of non-adhesive polishing discs to be held in place. This means that polishing pads can be changed quickly and effortlessly. Polishing discs can be easily stored and reused.
The XLAM 4 allows easy transition between different polishing steps, reducing the time needed for sample preparation. Compatible with non-self-adhesive diamond abrasive films.
